This portal is to open public enhancement requests against IBM Power Systems products, including IBM i. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).

IBM understands this request and will consider it for a future code update, though no commitment is made or implied.
In the example, number 2 is assumed.
For example, CCSID of the new application is 1399 and the old application is 5026. Administrators of these applications must be able to access both at the same time. At that time, the administrator needs to confirm that the host code page is correct.
Please provide more information for the user scenario for which this is needed. For example:
1. Is this for a single configured session where the user is changing the host code page setting and then reconnecting?
2. Is this for multiple configured sessions where each session is using a different host code page?
Provide any other information which describes the use case.
