F5 Refresh Key Behavior on Certain List Screens

On the Work with Subsystems (WRKSBS) screen as well as the Display Open Files screen inside the Work with Job menu option 14, if you scroll down to see a particular subsystem or file name and press F5 to refresh the statistics, the entire list is redisplayed starting at the top, requiring the user to scroll down and find the subsystem or file of interest again.

I would like the behavior of the F5 refresh key to refresh the list, but keep the positioning of the list where it is when F5 is pressed rather than going back to the top of the list each time.

Use Case:

When monitoring for the number of active jobs in a group of subsystems among a total of dozens of active subsystems, it's quite tedious to have to scroll down multiple times each time you refresh. Also, when viewing an active job's file read/write activity in a job that has many open files, the same applies if you refresh and have to scroll down multiple times again.

The CAAC has reviewed this requirement and recommends that IBM view this as a “nice to have” low priority feature. Fix the list positioning only if it is easily implementable.

Background: The COMMON Americas Advisory Council (CAAC) members have a broad range of experience in working with small and medium-sized IBM i customers. CAAC has a key role in working with IBM i development to help assess the value and impact of individual RFEs on the broader IBM i community, and has therefore reviewed your RFE.

Sounds like a reasonable request. Will take a look.

This RFE is fully similar to
"WRKJOB/DSPJOB OPTION(*OPNF) -- F5 should refresh the current screen instead of going back to the top" except the command is different.
    http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/rfe/execute?use_case=viewRfe&CR_ID=115451
which is already "Planned for Future Release".
I suppose both of them can be solved together.
