Trim trailing spaces on open of source

When source is opened, quite often there are trailing spaces. I would like for source to not have trailing spaces on open, just like it trims trailing spaces on save.


Use Case:

When I open a source and want to jump to the end of a line of code, I press End - but when there are trailing spaces, it takes me far beyond the end of the code. In addition sometimes I'll open source to copy something, and the copy picks up all of the trailing spaces, and depending on where I intend on pasting the code, it's annoying to have the trailing spaces caught up in there.

I can't think of a time where I'd ever want trailing spaces respected.

    This feature is now available in the IBM Rational Developer for i V9.6 product with V9.6.0.2 fixpack installed.
