Allow me to stop producing message from SYSPROC.WLM_SET_CLIENT_INFO

I use SYSPROC.WLM_SET_CLIENT_INFO to set some registers so that my temporal tables audit columns like HISTORY_CHANGE_PROGRAM will have values I want.

My problem is this function reports to the job log an informational message telling me the value was set to my value.

I don't need this message during production-level uses.

Use Case:

CALL SYSPROC.WLM_SET_CLIENT_INFO( CLIENT_PROGRAMID => :PROGRAM_NAME_STRING );

This appears in the job log, "The following special registers have been set: CLIENT_PROGRAMID: [my value]".

    This enhancement was delivered in December 2022 with IBM i 7.5 PTF Group level 3 and IBM i 7.4 PTF Group level 23.

    A VERBOSE option was added to the SYSPROC.WLM_SET_CLIENT_INFO procedure. This allows the user to avoid having the SQL799C message sent to the joblog.

    See this page in IBM Documentation for details: https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/i/7.5?topic=services-wlm-set-client-info-procedure
