Enable Global Override of Compiler Options for SQL Statements

We are using SQL Functions and due to our security concept, those SQL Functions need to be created with the compile options USRPRF and DYNUSRPRF both set to *OWNER. This can be done by calling SET OPTIONS inside the CREATE OR REPLACE FUNCTION statement. However, we would need to add the SET OPTIONS statement to every SQL Function that's being developed. This is quite cumbersome copy/paste work, which is also error prone.
Please enable a global override for compiler options that can be passed with the SET OPTIONS statement during a CREATE OR REPLACE FUNCTION statement. In my point of view this would be similar to CHGCMDDFT for compilation commands on the IBM i and thus, I would also expect it for SQL Statements.

Use Case:

We need this feature for all our CREATE OR REPLACE FUNCTION statements.

The CAAC has reviewed this requirement and recommends that IBM view this as a medium priority requirement that should be addressed. For the sake of consistency, there is value in this RFE.

Note that the SWAP_DYNUSRPRF procedure switches the SQL DYNUSRPRF setting for a program or service program. See https://www.ibm.com/support/pages/node/1116519 for more information.

Background: The COMMON Americas Advisory Council (CAAC) members have a broad range of experience in working with small and medium-sized IBM i customers. CAAC has a key role in working with IBM i development to help assess the value and impact of individual RFEs on the broader IBM i community, and has therefore reviewed your RFE.

It seems it is possible now to put the generated source somewhere, and the compile can be done separately. Then the options you need can be applied.

IBM will use this request as input to planning but no commitment is made or implied. This request will be updated in the future if IBM implements it.
