DB2 SQL Query for rtbdskinf - prtdskinf

Hi, we are working constantly on developing applications working with SQL queries on IBM iSeries. We had a number of requests from customers for more advanced monitoring and one thing that we are missing is integrating rtbdskinf - prtdskinf type of view into DB2 SQL queries. Is it something that can be done to utilize more powerful monitoring?

IBM will use this request as input to planning but no commitment is made or implied. This request will be updated in the future if IBM implements it.

Depending on the IBM i VxRy you're customers are running, there are two solutions.

If on IBM i V7R3 or later, the IBM SYSDISKSTAT view in QSYS2 that provides this information.

If on IBM i V7R2 then our SQLTools QDISK VIEW or the DISK_LIST() table function will provide that information for your customers. Note: SQLTools is not an IBM OEM product so use Google to locate it.
