New Nav - Work Management tables/panels need to retrieve ALL ASP objects NOT just SYSBAS

In New Nav, JOBQs, OUTQs, SBSD, JOBDs, MSGQs, need to search all ASPs, not just SYSBAS.

Examples:

Work Management

SBSD, retrieving jobq entries that reside in an iASP library do not show up. On the green screen, it shows 58 jobq entries. In the New Nav it shows 6.


JobQ's, those in the iasp do not show up on the list. On my test system, 477 jobqs show in the list in New Nav. But a DSPOBJD *all/*all Type(*JOBQ) finds 770 jobqs. I need to see all of them and want to assign whichever ones I want to a subsystem description jobq entry.


On all these topics in work management need to search all ASPs, not just the SYSBAS.

    Resolved that this has been delivered. Using the System Properties IASP setting to Include the IASP on the connection to the IBM i will allow the functions used by IBM Navigator for i to include the ASP on results for functions. https://www.ibm.com/support/pages/node/6825063

    The CEAC has reviewed this requirement and recommends that IBM view this as a HIGH priority requirement that is important to address.

    Background: The COMMON Europe Advisory Council (CEAC) members have a broad range of experience in working with small and medium-sized IBM i customers. CEAC has a crucial role in working with IBM i development to help assess the value and impact of individual RFEs on the broader IBM i community and has therefore reviewed your RFE.
