The PowerHA team recently announced a new modern graphical interface for PowerHA for IBM i 7.4 and 7.5 with a planned availability date of December 16th, 2022:

PowerHA has always required minimal ongoing monitoring and management. Previously, most monitoring and management for PowerHA was done either through the green screen command-line interface, SQL services, or through the PowerHA web interface built into the heritage Navigator for i. This update provides the first installment of a new modern web interface for PowerHA, giving at-a-glance health information from a web browser.

    See the 7.5 announcement here:
    See the 7.4 announcement here:

We will provide an additional update once the PTFs enabling the new functionality are available.

The CEAC has reviewed this requirement and recommends that IBM view this as a HIGH priority requirement that is important to address.

Background: The COMMON Europe Advisory Council (CEAC) members have a broad range of experience in working with small and medium-sized IBM i customers. CEAC has a crucial role in working with IBM i development to help assess the value and impact of individual RFEs on the broader IBM i community and has therefore reviewed your RFE.

To find out how CEAC help to shape the future of IBM i, see CEAC @ and the article "The Five Hottest IBM i RFEs Of The Quarter" at

The PowerHA team understands the desire to have a new graphical interface for the PowerHA product and will use this request as input to planning, but no commitment is made or implied.

The great news is that over the last several years, the PowerHA team has worked to bring GUI-only functionality to the greenscreen, including simplifying adding resources to the administrative domain ( ). In addition, the PowerHA team has also delivered SQL services that can be used for building dashboards in dashboarding solutions. An example of building these dashboards can be found on the PowerHA wiki:

We look forward to hearing feedback related to the functionality in the existing PowerHA graphical interface that is most useful to you. For example, what do you use the PowerHA GUI for in your environment today that you would like to see in a new graphical interface?
