This portal is to open public enhancement requests against IBM Power Systems products, including IBM i. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).
We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:

I agree, that format 0200 has an option to return *JOBQ, *OUTQ, or *ACTIVE status. But it is an option, and *ACTIVE (only) can be requested/specified. Therefore the subsystem filter should be applicable.
When I need info on jobs running in just QUSRNOMAX and QBATCH subsystems only, I have to completely rewrite my QGYOLJOB interface? I don't need any of the info from 0300 but I do need format 0200 info, which is NOT available when using format 0300.
So please reconsider.
The other two formats (OLJB0100 and OLJB0200) return ALL jobs, including those on a JOBQ, where the subsystem is not yet known, and those on an OUTQ, where the subsystem name is no longer accessible.
We do not plan to change this.
IBM Power Systems Development
I spoke to development and the Job Type Enhanced limit is a bug, not a feature and it has now been fixed via a PTF. The other issues is an RFE situation. Whereby filtering by subsystem is currently limited t format OLJB0300. This request is to also support subsystem filtering when using format OLJB0200.
