Execute Line Commands over Multiple Views of Same Source Member

Currently, you can only execute line commands within a single view of a source member, which requires you to navigate between different sections of the same code on a single view, and can be time consuming if you have multiple line commands to execute.

Use Case:

It would be nice to have a split view of a single source member (Ctrl+2 when viewing a source member), navigate to a section of code in the first view, and place the line command "CC'' at the beginning and ending of the code you want to copy, then in the second view navigate to a different section of code (within the same source member) and place the line command "A" where you wish to copy the code to.

This would allow you to view both sections of code simultaneously without having to repeatedly scroll up and down between the sections of code you are working with.

(I know the line can be selected using the Alt+L command, and pasted using Alt+C between multiple views, and even multiple source menus - I just find myself reverting to the old line commands every once in a while, and get frustrated when it doesn't work the way I expect)

Thank you for submitting the RFE. We have evaluated this request and determined that it cannot be implemented at this time because it is not consistent with the direction of our product.
