Qshell df command is "slow" on detect disk space changes

df command under qshell shows a NOT updated percentage of used disk space if the disk space grows fast of get lower .

It looks that the df commands "reads" a value that is updated every xx minutes ( maybe 20-30 mins) and it's NOT the current used disk space. If your ASP is by example at 85% and you delete a library freeing some disk space with WRKSYSSTS you will get the right percentage, with DF it could happen that the percentage it still shows at 85% for many many minutes.

If you use the df command for monitoring purposes you will get not updated disk size by it.

This happens in almost all the versions i've tried (7.1, 7.2, 7.3 and 7.4).

It could be good that like in EVERY unix system the df command shows the actual disk size and occupation.

Thank you for submitting this request.
We understand that the delay in updating the disk information can impact decision making.
The file system team will investigate capturing the data more frequently.
