Re-instate Add Printer function in IBM Navigator for I
Navigator for I was once said to have the ability to add printers to an IBMi.
It was removed, along with the whole Basic Operations task group.
Because of its web presence, usage of such functions can be expanded to more than just internal IBMi support specialists. A helpdesk operation could be more easily trained to create and maintain IBMi networked printers. The web-based "add printer" function would be used in place of the Crtdevprt command -- which is less intuitive to the casual IBMi helpdesk support.
The add printer function would make the support for printers more complete in Navigator for I.
