An SQL Client Integration Exit Program (ARDPGM) receives remote DB credentials from the SQL system via the Connect format ARCN0100. Both User ID and Password parameters are limited to 10 characters each and the user ID contains only upper case characters. These restrictions enforces a remote user that obeys to these rules even though many DBs allows for longer credentials and for case sensitive user name.
Changing these restrictions will enable the ARDPGM to connect without the need to create or modify an existing remote user.
