OBJECT_STATISTICS table function should return source information for CRTBNDxxx compiled objects.

OBJECT_STATISTICS currently returns NULL for the source info for programs compiled with CRTBNDxxx commands.  That info it is available in DSPPGM for the object if you drill into the QTEMP module of the program.  This would be helpful for users wanting to find the source for a program using OBJECT_STATISTICS.  I was planning on using it to compare the list of source members to the compiled objects to look for missing source members and unused source members.

    IBM believes that a solution for the Idea described is already available. OBJECT_STATISTICS will not be extended to return this information.

    The source file information for ILE modules is available using the QSYS2.BOUND_MODULE_INFO view.

    select PROGRAM_NAME, SOURCE_FILE_LIBRARY, SOURCE_FILE, SOURCE_FILE_MEMBER, SOURCE_STREAM_FILE_PATH,
    SOURCE_CHANGE_TIMESTAMP
    from QSYS2.BOUND_MODULE_INFO
    where PROGRAM_LIBRARY = 'MYLIB';
