When a SPOOLED file is created, the "System Name" is assigned as an attribute to the SPOOLED file. The documentation says this is the System Name where the Job that created the SPOOLED file ran. However it is NOT a "System Name". It appears to be either "Local Control Point Name" or "Default Local Location" (see DSPNETA) .
This request is to either start setting that attribute to the actual System Name or change the documentation to identify what the actual value is that is being inserted into SPOOLED files as the "System name".
With so many partitions, it is necessary to query this attribute to see where it came from, and having the default be a Serial Number isn't helpful because we do set our System Name/Partition Names to a specific/unique identifier, but usually leave the Local Control Point name default. So the attribute is not helpful as is.
