Digital Certificate Manager - Automatically import CA certificates from 'Populate with CAs' list on certificate import if signature matches.

We currently have a 'Populate with CAs' function in DCM that has most well known third party CA certificates that can be selected and imported into the *SYSTEM store. It would be extremely helpful if we could automatically import CA certificates from this list if they match a signature of a third party server server certificate at import time (instead of having to manually import them prior to server certificate import).

    The CAAC has reviewed this IBM Idea and recommends that IBM not implement this request.

    While we like the idea, it has its own security risks and therefore we feel importing a certificate authority (CA) should be a conscious decision on the part of the administrator.

    Background: The COMMON Americas Advisory Council (CAAC) members have a broad range of experience in working with small and medium-sized IBM i customers. CAAC has a key role in working with IBM i development to help assess the value and impact of individual IBM Ideas on the broader IBM i community and has therefore reviewed your Idea.
