Set SEP entry screen browse buttons take too long

There are a few problems with the "Browse" buttons on the "Set Service Entry Point" window. Every single one of the browse buttons does the same where it populates a massive list of all objects, modules and procedures for everything in the *LIBL (If that is what you've set as the library.) This takes an incredibly long time to build the first time and sometimes on subsequent tries as well.

Please change the operation of the Browse buttons so that
1) pressing the Browse button by "Program" should only offer a list of programs relevant to the library or library list selected.
2) pressing the Browse button by "Service Program" should only offer a list of service programs relevant to the library (or list) selected.
3) pressing the Browse button by "Module" should only offer a list of modules relevant to the details in the previous two boxes.
4) pressing the Browse button by "Procedure" should only offer a list of procedures relevant to the selected values in the previous three boxes.

If you press a Browse button without entering details in the previous sections then the browse button should work similarly to the way it does now, allowing you to select library, program, module and procedure all at once if necessary.

At the moment, all the Browse buttons will list all objects, modules and all procedures, even though we'll only be looking for libraries, program objects, service program objects, modules and procedures. Please prevent the Browse buttons from listing files, data areas, panels, etc.

The results listed by the Browse buttons (for a *LIBL search) have each library expanded (the result window is not big) but do not have modules or procedures under the programs expanded. This seems inconsistent, and the entire set of data should start unexpanded.

(Additionally, a nice feature would be to allow creating a SEP and defaulting the boxes by right-clicking the open source member (or even a relevant entry in the outline view) but the above is the main focus of this RFE.)

Use Case:

Open the SEP window through any of the options available. Select *LIBL for the library, then click any of the browse buttons by program, module or procedure.

We have reviewed this requirement and we feel it would be a beneficial enhancement to the product. We hope to be able to add it to our development plans in the future.

Although the theme of this request is consistent with our business strategy, it is not committed to the release that is currently under development.

Setting a SEP that way works fine. In some cases, however, it is more desirable to create a SEP without finding an entry in the RSE first.

It has come to my attention that the problem is only consistently wrong for the "Browse" buttons on the module and procedure boxes. For the library and program, many report that the functionality is sufficient.

Have you tried setting the SEP via the right-click menu option? Put your cursor in a executable line of code fro the option to show up.
