Add long username for addition to current userprofile to enable login with longer usernames on smb, ftp, web or odbc etc

With the long password we can use passwords > 10 chars.
Maybe it is possible to add a additional field to the usrprf to enable logins from all others then green screen with longer usernames.

    IBM does not intend to provide a solution to this Idea at this time, so it is being closed. Since the user profile name is an object name, it is limited to 10 characters or less. The user processing is based on the 10 character limit. To provide an alternate name that is longer than 10 characters would be a major undertaking. This team has quite a long list of higher priority requirements, so this request is not likely to be implemented anytime soon.
