Access Client Solutions TN5250 emulator: Four sessions in a 2x2 grid like the old IBM 3290 display (1982)

A user on IBM i OSS asked if it was possible to have four sessions to tab between in the IBM i Access Client Solutions 5250 emulator in a 2x2 grid to make it easier to do terminal work.
It's true that it's easier to work in green-screen land with four on the screen visible.
User thought that it would be nice if one could set this up inside iACS itself instead of dragging four separate windows into position on the screen.

    i think this could be done with opensource program "tmux" and "tn5250"
    almost the same :-)

    Thank you for submitting your Idea to enhance IBM i Access Client Solutions (ACS). While we have no plans to implement the idea you submitted, there is already a way to accomplish similar support using ACS. Arrange your 5250 sessions on your screen the way you would like them. You can have as many separate windows for 5250 sessions as you would like and you can also have multiple tabbed sessions within those windows. Then from one of the 5250 sessions, select File-->Save As Multiple Sessions? This saves the view of all active 5250 sessions to a file type of .bchx with a name you choose. When you want to restart these sessions, bring up 5250 Session Manager and select the .bchx file you saved and either double-click it or select Start.
