I have a corrupted *USRIDX QUSRSYS/QYCDCERTI which is causing numerous DCM errors and multiple software problems with QYCDCUSG to be logged, when using the DCM. Unfortunately, recovery involves deleting certificate assignments and manually rebuilding the DCM and this process would be an extremely laborious and painful in our environment. A tool to automate the rebuild of this index would be very helpful.

    A tool to automate the specific DCM environment is possible by using the APIs that are available to remove and add certificates associated with the application definitions.

    To remove a certificate assignment from an application definition, call API QycdRemoveCertUsage.

    To assign a certificate to an application definition, all API QycdUpdateCertUsage.

    To retrieve the current list of applications and their certificate assignments so your automated tool can loop through the existing assignments, call API QycdRetrieveCertUsageInfo.
