Do not HOLD job schedule entries with CFGSTRPRSC on Source lpar

Since version 5.2 of the FSFC toolkit, the startup program is not replaced anymore with STRFSFLASH. Instead, command CFGSTRPRSC must be placed in the system's startup program. With this command. the job schedule entries are put on HOLD and afterwards released again.

Request is to not HLD/RLS jobscde's on the source lpars, but only on the target/flashcopy lpars.

The CAAC has reviewed this IBM Idea and recommends that IBM view this as a high priority Idea that is important to be addressed.

We agree that Job Schedule Entries should not be touched on the source LPAR only on the target LPAR.

Background: The COMMON Americas Advisory Council (CAAC) members have a broad range of experience in working with small and medium-sized IBM i customers. CAAC has a key role in working with IBM i development to help assess the value and impact of individual IBM Ideas on the broader IBM i community and has therefore reviewed your Idea.
