RELATED IDEAS

Always make Run SQL Scripts available, not just when in SQLRPGLE source

Being able to access Run SQL Scripts in RDi is great. But it'd be better if I didn't have to open a SQLRPGLE source to do so.


Use Case:

I use SQL to query data quite a lot and it's not always related to when I work on SQLRPGLE source.

    This feature is now available in the IBM Rational Developer for i V9.5 product with V9.5.1 update installed.

    The feature that is described in this request is a candidate for a future release.

    At least support for opening the scripts in other languages (e.g., COBOL) would be helpful. But I agree it would be beneficial to allow general access to the SQL script function.
