When using the STRAUTCOL command to trace usage of system objects, the execution of a System/36 environment procedure (STRS36PRC) does not log the name of the procedure or the objects accessed in th procedure. Unfortunately, many shops from that era still have menus with S36 procedures being used. In an effort to get rid of S36 environment, S36 procedures, program objects in RPG36, etc. It would be useful for Authority Collection to log more info than it does. The STRS36PRC command is logged, but after that, seems like no further information. Thank you.

Based on recent experience, there is perhaps more S/36 stuff than acknowledged? Adding just the name of the procedures called would be a huge time-saver for those attempting to remediate old stuff. Thanks for your comments.
The CAAC has reviewed this IBM Idea and recommends that IBM not implement this request.
The argument about the community still running s/36 is valid but, nothing new needs to be that far back ported.
Background: The COMMON Americas Advisory Council (CAAC) members have a broad range of experience in working with small and medium-sized IBM i customers.
