Enhance all SAVE and BRMS SAVE commands to be able to put an identical stream to other tapes

We recently found out that a DUPTAP needs twice as long as the SAVE which is sometimes a regulatory requirement.

If the backup takes very long than this might result in 24 hours not being enough to complete the task (if the backup takes more than 8 hours).

Today we are able to use more than one tape device to have a better backup performance. For the restore we would need both tapes because the data stream is divided between the two tapes.

It would be nice to use two tapes and decide during the backup if we want a divided and faster backup to two tapes or have identical tape streams on both tapes resulting in creating the duplication tape during the backup time. Especially true if using BRMS.

To accomplish this we might need a parameter DUPTAPDEV in all of the SAVE-commands for naming the tape devices for the duplicate data stream. It might contain *NONE for not using a second stream (normal behaviour as of today) and would be able to even name more than one tape device in case of using parallel data streams to get a faster backup. This might affect the backup performance but hopefully not much and should still be much faster than doing two backups sequential or doing tha backup and a DUPTAP afterwards.

The CAAC has reviewed this IBM Idea and recommends that IBM view this as a medium priority Idea that should be addressed.

We concur that having the ability to write two different tapes the same backup stream at the same time will be a valuable enhancement.

Background: The COMMON Americas Advisory Council (CAAC) members have a broad range of experience in working with small and medium-sized IBM i customers. CAAC has a key role in working with IBM i development to help assess the value and impact of individual IBM Ideas on the broader IBM i community and has therefore reviewed your Idea.
