We already support TCP keep alive for the debug connection. You would need to run the following command on the host to set the keep alive value (n is the minute value):
> CHGTCPA TCPKEEPALV(n)
You also need to restart the debug router by running ENDDBGSVR and then STRDBGSVR, before the keep alive value will take effect.
This TCP keep alive implementation can only keep the internal TCP connection from timing out. If the connection termination is triggered by an external factor, debug has no way to reconnect by itself.
