CPE3025 should tell what exactly is missing.

The message CPE3025 occurs when a file or folder in the IFS cannot be found. But you have to guess which one, as CPE3025 doesn't tell.

Edit: it is obviously me sending the message; sorry.

But nevertheless, a common data structure for CPExxxx-messages dealing with the UNIX style APIs concerning paths would be nice.
IBM just had to include the FMT and replacement vars like &1 in the SECLVL, and the programmer passes the data structure to SND-MSG as message data.
This data structure ideally comes from QSYSINC/QRPGLESRC, so one could fill the message data with CPExxxx.Path = myPath and send an informative message.
