Enable NFSv4 for Remote image catalogue setup and install for PTFs as image catalogue method of doing remote install through NFS supports only NFSv3.

Enabling NFSv4 for Remote image catalogue setup and install for PTFs as image catalogue method of doing remote install through NFS supports only NFSv3.
As per the IBM support team, the remote install of any ptfs or images through image catalogue over NFS requires wide range of UDP ports 5000 to 65500 open and we are not able to restrict the port range. Even though NFS on IBM i supports NFSv4, this way of doing remote install over NFS through image catalogue uses only NFSv3. If NFSv4 is available with this capability, then we can use only a specific port 0f 2049 for this purpose. This would greatly help with allowing specific ports on firewall for critical systems and applications.
