Shape the future of IBM!

We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:

Search existing ideas

Start by searching and reviewing ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted, and add a comment, vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you. If you can't find what you are looking for,

Post your ideas
  1. Post an idea.

  2. Get feedback from the IBM team and other customers to refine your idea.

ON-EXIT could be colored differently

Syntax highlighting: The ON-EXIT opcode, while technically an opcode, could be more noticeable if it were colored like a "control flow opcode" instead of regular "opcode". Then it would look like the monitor/on-error/endmon and return opcodes instead of a regular opcode.

Use Case:

Some folks miss seeing the on-exit operation when it is mashed in with other regular code since it is not colored any differently. If it stood out as different somehow it would be more obvious when the code that follows actually executes.

Although the theme of this request is consistent with our business strategy, it is not committed to the release that is currently under development.
