This portal is to open public enhancement requests against IBM Power Systems products, including IBM i. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).
We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Start by searching and reviewing ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted, and add a comment, vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you. If you can't find what you are looking for,
Post an idea.
Get feedback from the IBM team and other customers to refine your idea.
Follow the idea through the IBM Ideas process.

IBM Power Systems Development
So clear. Issue is:
You have a reference computer that has 5250 printer session that has PDT files configured.
You do an export to create the acs_bak.zip file.
That acs_bak.zip file is missing the .\pdfpdt folder and connect.
So obviously the import function for users, is not going to result in a working 5250 printer session.
My suggestion would be that the reference computer is the master setup. That the content exported as part of IBM ACS export function, includes the \PDTPDF folder content and replaces existing content (including the index file for the PDT files). This would be in line with what happens with the .hod files for example.
This would then cater to both when there would be a new \pdfpdt folder, as well as maintaining going forward when the version of the template is used with the version control in the acsconfig.properties file.
Regardless as to how done, the way it is at the moment, it doesn't work.
