New QSYS2 Table function : QSYS2.WRITER_INFO

Hello,

I wanted to retrieve the list of all the writers present on my client's machine.
I tried with the SQL table : QSYS2.OBJECT_STATISTICS.
SELECT * FROM TABLE (QSYS2.OBJECT_STATISTICS('*ALL ','*DEVD'))
WHERE OBJATTRIBUTE in ('PRTLAN','PRTVRT','PRTLCL','PRTRMT','PRTSNP');
But the query is very long and the extracted data does not really correspond to my needs.

I then used the CL commands :
WRKWTR WTR(*PRT) OUTPUT(*PRINT)
and
WRKWTR WTR(*ALL) OUTPUT(*PRINT)
Then by retrieving the data from the generated spools with SQL and processing it, i managed to extract the list of local and remote printers.

Would it be possible to have a SQL table function like QSYS2.WRITER_INFO that would allow us to obtain this information directly, simply, and quickly ?

Just like it exists for OUTQ with QSYS2.OUTPUT_QUEUE_INFO...

It would be really convenient.

I hope that my idea will be useful to many people and that it will be considered for future updates.

Thank You
