Add an additional special authority *NONSYS

With the introduction of a SPCAUT *NONSYS which which should include *ALLOBJ WITHOUT operating system libraries the system administrator should be able to easily seperate e.g. developers from system administrators. This option would avoid accidential write operations by users with *ALLOBJ on operating system objects. With this SPCAUT you should only have READ authorithy to operating system libraries like QSYS.

    The CAAC has reviewed this IBM Idea and recommends that IBM not implement this request.
    This could lead to unintended consequences with would ultimately create a security vulnerability.

    Background: The COMMON Americas Advisory Council (CAAC) members have a broad range of experience in working with small and medium-sized IBM i customers. CAAC has a key role in working with IBM i development to help assess the value and impact of individual IBM Ideas on the broader IBM i community and has therefore reviewed your Idea.

    Or, more likely, if implemented I suspect this would be a new Function Usage.
