Crash Support/Recovery for VE Diagrams

Similar to Crash Recovery for SQL scripts, I would absolutely LOVE to have something similar for VE Diagrams. Too often , I keep VE Diagrams up of statements that I plan / want to review..but very frequently, my  PC will reboot due to an update that happens overnight etc. I would love to be able to recover those diagrams and pick up where I left off  - again - similar to how run scripts recovers.
