Compare to file on "Open Member In Editor" screen

On the "Open Member In Editor" Screen, in addition to "Open for Edit" and "Open for browse", there should also be "Open for compare". This is opened via the default shortcut of CTRL-ALT-Q.

Alternatively, it could have it's own window instead. This would supplement the existing "Compare to file" menues.


Use Case:

The existing system forces you to load every library, than load every file, than load every member before you can get to the file you want to compare to. The "Open Member in Editor" CTRL-ALT-Q option is much faster on machines with a lot of libraries, files, and members.

    Although the theme of this request is consistent with our business strategy, it is not committed to the release that is currently under development.

    The iSphere plug-in includes an excellent Source Compare tool which can be actioned from the menu bar or Ctrl+I, C shortcut. The members to compare can be specified explicitly, without the need to navigate each Connection/Library/File/Member.
    Since the function appears to exist within a (free) plug-in, IBM Rational resources might be better deployed to other requested enhancements.
