ICC product should provide information to BRMS indicating tape transfer has failed

Hello,

As per case TS019399743:

"...I was working with development teams and sincerely apologize for delayed response. BRMS development team has checked and confirmed that ICC product do not provide information to BRMS indicating tape transfer has failed. So BRMS cannot update volume status. Manual intervention is required with the volume as mentioned in the following wiki article.

Then, I contacted ICC development team and checked with them if they need RFE (Request for enhancement).

ICC development team agreed and suggested to create new RFE. You can create new IBM idea using following URL for ICC product."


So here I am, creating the Idea.
We shouldn't have to build scripts to work around a basic functional gap in ICC.
I hope this gets your attention and is implemented quickly—it should be a straightforward fix.
