ACS IFS - resolve correctly "well known locations" to the real physical folder

Talking about Windows, ACS seems to not respect the client setting, assuming that the position of well known folders is fixed in a system.

For example in ACS IFS browser, Edit-Preferences-Download Location is set to "Downloads folder".

ACS assumes it is under c:\users\theuser\Download but it is not always the case, it is on another location, so when a user default pressing "Download" without specifying the target folder, ACS gives an error out (missing folder).

The native windows explorer show the folder correctly when I go to "Downloads".

Please use - in case of windows  the proper registered locations, using eventual already present os specific shim, you can call

SHGetKnownFolderPath function (shlobj_core.h) - Win32 apps | Microsoft Learn

Of course one can then hardwire a folder in the configuration, but it is an additional step that the user should do in their configuration.

thanks
