Edit copy members in the same editor window they are used in

It would be extremely useful and functional to be able to edit the included copy (/copy) members in the same editor where the main program is being edited.
The ability to edit copy members by opening them directly from the main source is very convenient, but once the source is opened for editing, the content assistant often doesn't work because it doesn't see (or understand) the context in which the copy is used. This is limiting for members that only contain declarations, but becomes unmanageable when the copied member contains functions that use complex nested Ds.

In development, we use service programs when it is necessary to share functions between multiple programs, but there are conditions where this is not possible and to avoid physically duplicating code in multiple programs, using copy members is the only viable option.

I believe the real issue is that RDi content assist isn't handling the complex nested D spec's. Is this an accurate statement?

IE even if you could edit in-line, if RDi doesn't handle the nested Ds in content assist, it wouldn't really improve the experience. Correct?
