Fix Request: IBM i VSI WebConsole takeover with STS LAN Adapter kills actual session

When using the PowerVS VSI's 5250 WebConsole (HMC) and taking over with a LAN Console, kills the actual session and creates a new one. 

This happen on both directions:  LAN Console -> WebConsole or WebConsole-> LAN Console

This can be really annoying when using IBM Power Virtual Server, specially if you are running long process (backups) and try to switch consoles to avoid timeout.

    I understand.

    Unfortunately the 5250 webconsole is the default and it is really limited.
    Using the STS LAN Adapter as a secondary console sometime shows issue, so we need to switch back to web console to gain access to the system. Maybe the issue is not the console switchover, but the console stability when using this mechanism to use ACS LAN Console.

    The CAAC has reviewed this IBM Idea and recommends that IBM not implement this request.
    Is working as designed. One does not change a console from one type to another while it's being used.

CAAC has a key role in working with IBM i development to help assess the value and impact of individual IBM Ideas on the broader IBM i community and has therefore reviewed your Idea.
