RDi integrated shell

Introduce an integrated shell, like VSCode has, to make it easy/simple to ssh into PASE on IBM i.


Use Case:

As more developers adopt RPG in the IFS they will also most likely be adopting alternative build strategies that require "make" and other utilities that run in PASE.

    We have reviewed this requirement and we feel it would be a beneficial enhancement to the product. We hope to be able to add it to our development plans in the future.

    Although the theme of this request is consistent with our business strategy, it is not committed to the release that is currently under development.

    Yes. Though I was unable to test the feature because I discovered I was on an old version of RDi. I tried upgrading but gave up after 2hrs. The issue was I didn't realize I needed to download from scratch (at least that's what I am told).

    Please note that an integrated terminal supporting ssh is already shipped with RDi. You can open it with Window>Show view>Other>Terminal>Terminal. If you use the bash shell, it will work fine. However if you use the default shell, there are issues with the backspace not working properly. Will this meet your requirements?
