QM Profile Management: CRTUSRPRF automatically creates QM Profile with *SELECT as Allowed SQL-Statement per Default

Hi all

if you create a userprofile, the CRTUSRPRF - command automatically creates a Query Manager Profile with (as default) *SELECT as Allowed SQL Statement.

There is no way to inhibit creation or change any defaults.

Also there is no command / API or similar to programmatically change the Profile or allowed Statements.

The idea is to have -

1) the chance to set defaults: a) create profile or not b) default list of Allowed Statements or *NONE

2) or at least some commands like addqmprf chgqmprf ... so there is a chance to manage qm profiles programmatically after creation.

Please have a look !

All the best to you in 2026

und beste Grüße

Jürgen Scheler
