Add Function Usage for SQL Statements similar to Allowed SQL Statements in Query Manager

Query Manager allows for limiting of SQL Statements, ALTER, DELETE, UPDATE, INSERT, etc. which is helpful to reduce the amount of users who can use SQL to manipulate tables.  However, it only works within Query Manager.  Can a Function Usage be added to prevent users from using specific SQL statements?

    We agree that being able to control user access to SQL statements is an important topic. We do not believe that defining many function usage identifiers is a flexible enough solution for the IBM i community. For that reason, this Idea is being closed.

    The interface we are considering is an exit point solution that can be used for SQL statement usage. An exit point allows an action based on more than just the statement type. The statement, user, object, interface, and other enviromental considerations can be used to control and monitor access. The following Idea is connected to this enhancement suggestion.

    If an entry in the Function Usage utility is not possible, perhaps something native to ACS?
