SMTP journal

It would be important to have a journal available for mail servers configured using the SMTP framework as well, one that logs all email sending activities.

This is particularly important when dealing with auditors who request old logs, in which case the journal tool can be more convenient than archiving other types of objects, such as IFS files, etc.

    The CAAC has reviewed this IBM Idea and recommends that IBM view this as a medium priority Idea that should be addressed.

    Just checking you are aware of the CHGSMTPA KEEPUNTIL parameter, this creates logs that are easier to read, capture and export for auditors.
