Allow Copy of Table Column into Run SQL Scripts Statement

I would like to be able to right click on a column heading and select "Copy Column Name to SQL". When building an SQL statement, I often don't remember the column names and will run a "select * from" to get all the columns. In some cases (look at a lot of the QSYS2 tables), the column names are long and hard to key in. I have to carefully type in the column name when it's right there on the screen in front of me. Alternately, using the "Columns.." view and being able to drag the column name into the SQL statement would be extremely helpful, too. Being able to do this would be a great productivity improvement by increasing the accuracy of the column name and the reduction in typing time.

    We understand the request and will consider it for a future update, though no commitment is made nor implied.

    Consider using the "Details..." action on the results, which displays a dialog with information about the results, including column meta data.
    The Column details grid supports multiple selections, and provides menu options for copying the column name.

    I do not really have any objections regarding this request, but I am curious why you do not utilize the content assist (prompting) feature in ACS Run SQL Scripts? To me the content assist is the most superior way to building an SQL statement without knowing the column names.

    Just write the following SQL statement for a schema and table that exist and position the input cursor between select and from and press either Shift - Space or use the F4 key and you will get a list of available columns to choose from:
    select from myschema.mytable;
