The BRMS team has previously requested more clarifying information. Because the additional information was not provided within 30 days, the request has been closed.
Before considering the addition of a PDF retention interface, could you clarify whether the email delivery functionality would meet your requirements if the PDFs were simply made available outside of the temporary processing directory?
Since Enterprise already generates the PDF as part of the email process, one possible approach may be to use the email distribution feature to deliver the PDFs to a monitored mailbox, allowing them to be downloaded, archived, and moved to the desired location.
If your primary objective is long-term retention and transfer to another system, this may provide the required functionality without introducing a new retention management option within BRMS/Enterprise.
Regarding the automated transfer to a Windows server, could you provide more details on the desired mechanism (for example, network share, FTP/SFTP, or another method)? Understanding the target workflow will help us determine whether an existing capability may already address the requirement.
Please let us know if the email-based approach would satisfy the business need, or if there is a specific requirement that necessitates retaining the temporary PDF files generated under /tmp/brms.

Following the installation of 5770-BR2, we are currently setting up the Enterprise component.
We have observed that when reports are sent via email, the process converts the spool into PDF in the IFS directory structure:
/tmp/brms//Enterprise/APPN.yyyyy/BRMSRCY/xxxxxx
The system then immediately deletes these files.
We would like you to add an option to retain these PDFs and allow us to specify a retention period for them.
Additionally, if possible, we would like to automate the transfer of these PDFs to a remote (Windows) server.
