Can't install RDi on removable device

As a consultant in a small company, I would like to be able to install RDi on a removable device such as a USB stick so I can move it from one laptop to another for use with different clients.

Use Case:

As a consultant, I am often given a laptop from my client and I am not allowed to install non-client software such as my version of RDi. If I purchase a single user license, I can install it on multiple machines as long as no two copies are used at the same time. However, since I am unable to install it on the client laptop, I can't use it while working for them. Since most of my contracts are long term, I could be paying for software for a year or more that I can't use. For this reason, I have not purchased a license.

Based on research by Edmund Reinhardt, the installation updates the Windows registry which means even if it is installed on a removable device, it can't be used on a machine that was not installation machine. Also, since this registry entry is not deleted on uninstall (based on my experience) this means my license is now installed of their laptop. I can't verify this but I question if someone could use an unlicensed copy on that laptop and it would see my license in the registry and work. This would mean a violation of my license through no fault of my own.

Although the theme of this request is consistent with our business strategy, it is not committed to the release that is currently under development.
