RDI - incorrect "date area" in source memeber

When the Rational Developer for i product is kept open and connected to a remote system (i.e. for "more than a day"), when a developer edits a line of code, it is "tagged" with the wrong date. In RDi the date can be seen when editing RPG code by right-clicking on the source code and selecting Source > Show Date Area. This date is important in identifying the date the change was made. The situation now make it look like the change was made in the past.


Use Case:

having the wrong date makes it difficult in knowing when the developer made the change.
