RDi, PDM perspective, Mode Member, Option 2=Edit opens source in browse mode

RFE 14402 states the following:

RFE14402 Add preference to default all opens to be browse only. On Remote Systems>IBM i>Objects Subsystem
preference page, there is now a 'Open source in browse mode' preference.

When the above option is checked a source is being opened in browse mode by deault. This is perfect for opens within the Remote System Explorer (double click on a source member opens it in browse mode) but not within the PDM perspective as there you can deliberately select to 2=Edit or 5=Display a source member.


Use Case:

When editing source members via PDM perspective, 2=edit should always react like the true PDM does and stated by the Option itself -> edit mode instead of browse mode. To display a member within PDM we would always use 5=Display.
