Allow SQL format option in RDi for SQL source types

Allow function in RDI for SQL source member types (TABLE, VIEW, FUNCTION, PROCEDURE, etc) that will reformat copy and pasted SQL so that it easily formats to the 80 column width of the source file.

Allow "Format" option in the RDi source menu for SQL source types. Ctrl-Shift-F hotkey.

This will allow pasted in SQL to be easily reformatted. This on-demand formatter should parse the SQL and if the SQL is not valid syntactically, it should highlight any tokens in error with annotations describing the problem. This syntax checking should happen on a keystroke basis if the formatting preference is enabled and it will perform much quicker than the current SQL syntax checking because it does not require a call to the IBM i server.

Use Case:

Copy and paste SQL view source into a QSQLSRC source file member. Press Ctrl-Shift-F on a highlighted sql statement to limit to that statement or if no source highlighted then process the entire source member.

We have reviewed this requirement and we feel it would be a beneficial enhancement to the product. We hope to be able to add it to our development plans in the future.

Although the theme of this request is consistent with our business strategy, it is not committed to the release that is currently under development.

Why not make your sources bigger as 80 columns ?

In fully free you can go as wide as you wish.
