This portal is to open public enhancement requests against IBM Power Systems products, including IBM i. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).
We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Start by searching and reviewing ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted, and add a comment, vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you. If you can't find what you are looking for,
Post an idea.
Get feedback from the IBM team and other customers to refine your idea.
Follow the idea through the IBM Ideas process.

When users click on a variable that is used from a /copy or /include, we take you to the /copy directive.
If you hover over the /copy, you will see the full copy text of include (provided it fits on 1 screen). At the top of the hover we include a hyperlink to that source so users can click and open the source member.
Also, users can use ctrl-click on a /copy or /include to open the source. (If users set open in browse setting, the /copy or /include will be opened in Browse mode.)
(TIP: to quickly see the /copy or /include in your source member, right-click or shift+F10 to get the popup menu, and select "Filter View" select option the option code. Now only code is visible in your source member and you can spot the /copy or /includes much easier. Pressing CTRL+W will reset your filtered view)
We will consider this Idea delivered.

I find it odd that CEAC thinks that it's too tedious to click on an item that is related to a copybook in the outline, have the source positioned to that item, then mouse clicking on the copybook and right-clicking to open the member but having functionality ACTUALLY work is more important.
This is a "very" nice to have but unnecessary, ask.
But they believe working efficiently is not that important, http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/rfe/execute?use_case=viewRfe&CR_ID=148750.
The CEAC has reviewed this requirement and recommends that IBM view this as a MEDIUM priority requirement that should be addressed.
Background: The COMMON Europe Advisory Council (CEAC) members have a broad range of experience in working with small and medium-sized IBM i customers. CEAC has a crucial role in working with IBM i development to help assess the value and impact of individual RFEs on the broader IBM i community and has therefore reviewed your RFE.
To find out how CEAC help to shape the future of IBM i, see CEAC @ ibm.biz/BdYSYj and the article "The Five Hottest IBM i RFEs Of The Quarter" at ibm.biz/BdYSZT
