Context prompt for OVERLOADed procedures

When using the context-sensitive completion assist to find a procedure to call, it would help greatly if all of the possible overloaded procedure parameters were suggested using the name of the overload prototype.

See Use Case for example.

Use Case:

Given the example in the ILE RPG reference for the OVERLOAD keyword:

DCL-PR format_date VARCHAR(100);
dateParm DATE(*ISO) CONST;
END-PR;
DCL-PR retrieve_message VARCHAR(100);
msgid CHAR(7) CONST;
replacement_text VARCHAR(100) CONST;
END-PR;
DCL-PR format VARCHAR(100) OVERLOAD(format_date : retrieve_message);
DCL-S result VARCHAR(50);
DCL-S filename CHAR(10);
result = format(%date()); // 1
result = format('MSG0100' : filename); // 2

when I key

result = form

and press ctl-space, the resulting prompt suggests

format() - char(100)
format_date() - char(100) (dateparm)

Really, it ought to show the formats of all of the procedures covered by the OVERLOAD prototype:

format() - char(100) (dateparm)
format() - char(100) (msgid: replacement_text)
format_date() - char(100) (dateparm)

    What I meant was that both the overloaded procs should be displayed but with the same name -- format(). Neither format_date() nor retireve_message() should appear.

    So like this:

    format() - char(100) (dateparm)

    format() - char(100) (msgid: replacement_text)

    Completely agree with this.

    Also, the hovering over the use of the overloaded name in the code should display the parameters and comments for the actual procedure it references.

    Although the theme of this request is consistent with our business strategy, it is not committed to the release that is currently under development.
