Specify include directories at connection level

Most of the commands for creating ILE modules and ILE programs like CRTBNDRPG and CRTRPGMOD have the parameter INCDIR. This parameter will be needed if there is a copy book in the source to compile, which is located in the IFS and which is specified with a relative path. When opening such a source in the LPEX editor the source will be parsed and during this process the parser tries to resolve the location of the copy book in the IFS. It`s possible to specify the include directories in RDi at a global level under preferences, Remote Systems -> IBM i -> Program Verifiers -> ILE RPG -> Defines. If there are more then one connection in the Remote Systems Explorer, then this can make problems, because each connection can need its own include directories, so it would be good, if it would be possible to specify the include directories at connection level.

Use Case:

This feature would be useful, if there are copy books with relative path in a source.

The CAAC has reviewed this Idea and recommends that IBM view this as a medium priority requirement that should be addressed. If source files are moved out to IFS, the IDE should behave in the same way as if it were stored in traditional members.

The CEAC has reviewed this requirement and recommends that IBM view this as a MEDIUM priority requirement that should be addressed. Having a solution to meet this need seems like a good idea. However, we have voted medium as we would like IBM to focus on other prioriries at this time.

Although the theme of this request is consistent with our business strategy, it is not committed to the release that is currently under development.
